Dashain is the longest and the most auspicious festival in the Nepalese annual calendar, celebrated by Nepalese of all caste and creed throughout the country. The fifteen days of celebration occurs during the bright lunar fortnight ending on the day of the full moon.

Tihar (Nepali: तिहार), also known as Deepawali and Yamapanchak, is a five-day-long Hindu festival celebrated in Nepal and in the Indian states of Assam and Sikkim including in Darjeeling district of West Bengal. It is the festival of lights, as diyas are lit inside and outside the houses to make it illuminate at night.

Chhath is an ancient Hindu Vedic festival historically native to eastern Uttar Pradesh and Bihar of India and the Madhesh of Nepal.

These festival fall in the month of September and October. On the eve of festivals we will hold a tea talk greeting program on  223rd September 2017 at community hall.
